The Role: Product Manager Pulp & Paper
Who are you?
The Pulp & Paper Product Manager (PPPM) is responsible for delivery of post combustion capture products for the Pulp & Paper industry that fully satisfy customer and Svante’s requirements.
Svante’s go to market strategy for Pulp & Paper is a partnership with a project developer with deep expertise in the industry. The PPPM will directly interface with the project developer and form close working relationships with customers (external and internal) to ensure their needs and requirements are fully captured. As a Product Manager, you will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends to understand current development challenges and to participate to develop the Pulp & Paper capture product and future improvements to increase the profitability for the Company. The PPPM key role is more strategic than tactical. The PPPM will identify the lifecycle support structure and budget required to deliver Product development requirements including R&D, product engineering, process development, and manufacturing.
The PPPM must be able to communicate with all areas of the company in order to ensure that Pulp & Paper products are developed and delivered to cost, quality and timelines agreed with customers at all stages of the product lifecycle. The PPPM will work with R&D and product development counterparts to define product release requirements. Also will work with BD, and Marketing & Communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them to understand the product positioning, key benefits and target customers. The PPPM will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for the Pulp & Paper product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
The PPPM will be an experienced Product Manager ideally from the Pulp & Paper industry with obvious parallels to the growing carbon capture industry.
