Process Safety Senior Consultant

Local Unit & Position Description

Some of the key tasks you will carry out include:

• Take a leading role for process safety projects, working as technical reviewer and provide support to consultants’ team assigned to the project, ensuring their level of performance, quality and technical excellence
• Perform risk analysis projects as lead consultant for qualitative, quantitative analysis and other related process safety projects according to DNV portfolio
• Technical support for sales team, proposals technical preparation and proper guidance
• Support technically our strategic goals and ambitions for Latin America growth on Process Safety services portfolio, working on technical structure and resources qualification/training
• Providing research, analysis and insight for internal business development purposes.

Position Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you need to have:

• Demonstrable technical experience on process safety projects, mainly on qualitative (PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, etc.) and quantitative (QRA) risk analysis
• At least 10 years of experience working as leader/facilitator for above mentioned risk analysis techniques on different sectors (chemical, mining, steel, petrochemical, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanic, etc.) or similar
• Travel availability in Brazil or abroad in Latin America
• Excellent report writing, oral communication and presentation skills
• Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to collaborate with others, plan and prioritize activities, and to deliver against competing/tight deadlines
• English mandatory/Spanish desirable (plus native/fluent Portuguese)
