Our sustainability team aims to support clients in comprehending and subsequently minimising their environmental impact. Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a key growth area for Ricardo, we have undertaken a considerable number of LCA projects in the last five years, covering various industries and products such as automotive, building materials, and low-carbon technologies.
We are actively looking for an experienced Principal Consultant to join our team, with the aim of supporting and expediting the expansion of our LCA team.
We encourage you to apply for this role if you can recognise and cultivate fresh prospects, have an aptitude for engaging in strategic discussions with high-level executives, encompassing assessing requirements, create technical propositions, and guide clients throughout their sustainability journey.
We’d love to hear from you if you have the following competencies and experience:
Experience of managing and delivering LCA projects in accordance with international standards.
Ability to demonstrate relevant technical capability, effective project management and excellent communication skills.
Higher education qualification (Bachelor’s Degree) in an environmental discipline, or otherwise to have a good track record working in an environmental role, so that you can demonstrate your knowledge.
Experience of working in the consultancy sector, or responsibility for managing the outputs from contracted consultants, to demonstrate that you have the necessary commercial awareness. We would also be interested to talk to candidates currently performing roles directly within industry especially where they have a strong commercial awareness.
Experience of identifying and developing business opportunities, including establishing and maintaining relationships at senior levels.
LCACP and CLAR certification would be an advantage.
