Ambri, an energy startup commercializing an innovative battery technology first developed at MIT, is seeking a Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead the product scale up efforts for Ambri’s Liquid MetalTM battery technology.
Position Overview
Ambri is seeking an individual to be the Principal Engineer of the Ambri Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. The Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the development and validation of manufacturing tools, equipment, and processes for high volume manufacturing plant(s) for Ambri’s unique Liquid MetalTM battery technology and cells. The Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cell development engineering, systems product engineering and the plant manufacturing teams to ensure that manufacturable designs are created resulting in high quality production meeting cost and timing requirements. Applying scientific expertise and experience to develop and maintain product scale up and ramp to high volume production levels. The Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will drive the processes to create the high-volume production plant design and considerations that are unique to Ambri’s Liquid MetalTM battery technology.
