Pre-K-12 Education Fellow and Manager, Bridges Collaborative
Hybrid (Two days per week in office and three days remote work) | New York City Preferred | Minimum Salary: $90K Maximum Salary: $105K
The Century Foundation (TCF), an independent progressive public policy think tank, seeks a fellow to contribute to the pre-K-12 education team’s work on educational equity and manage the Bridges Collaborative, a network of education and housing organizations committed to socioeconomic and racial integration in schools and neighborhoods.
The Bridges Collaborative is reigniting a nationwide movement for integrated schools and diverse neighborhoods, serving as a hub for practitioners from across the country. Since its launch in 2020, the Bridges Collaborative has worked with leaders from over 60 school districts, charter schools and CMOs, and housing organizations, providing them the space and opportunity to learn from one another, build grassroots political support, and develop successful strategies for integration.
The fellow will recruit and sustain relationships with Bridges Collaborative members, facilitate meetings to promote peer-to-peer learning, help write reports regarding policy issues related to school integration and educational equity more broadly, and communicate about the importance of diversity.
This is a hybrid position based out of TCF’s New York City office and reporting to senior fellow Halley Potter. For an exceptional candidate, virtual may be an option, with occasional travel for team meetings and conferences. This position is grant-funded.
