E3G is looking for a Policy Advisor to support our work on power system transition in Europe. The role will focus on building partnerships and evidence base to facilitate infrastructure modernisation and power market transformation. The successful candidate would be based in E3G’s Brussels Office.

Role Overview
E3G’s Clean Economy programme focuses on creating the political conditions to ensure the socio-economic transformation to climate neutrality. In the EU the team focuses on the development of cross-sectoral and multi-stakeholder strategies taking account of EU-level and Member States politics.
The Policy Advisor – power system transition will work to create the enabling conditions for fast modernisation of power systems, with focus on grids. The successful candidate will support coalition-building, research and thought leadership and stakeholder engagement activities at EU and Member States level to drive up policy ambition for power system decarbonisation in 2030s, support delivery and encourage the flow of finance to energy system transformation.

The position is paying according to our salary band between 3160€ and 3450€ monthly reference salary (broadly equivalent to €44,000 - €48,000 per year), depending on experience.
