WORK MODE AND JOB LOCATION
In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. One day per week in our Toronto office is required, with additional in-person presence as required. This arrangement allows for a blend of in-person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time. UWW/EXP offers flexible hours of work that allows employees to manage personal and professional responsibilities while at the same time ensuring that responsibilities, expectations, and key deliverables are met.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the National Director, Programs & Impact, the Performance Measurement & Improvement Specialist provides evidence-informed support to the UWW/EXP Program and Senior Leadership teams to ensure programs and services are high quality, high impact and meet the needs of UWW/EXP clients and other key stakeholders. Key functions include (1) developing and enhancing performance measurement for ongoing program monitoring and improvement, (2) conducting evaluations to understand program processes and implementation, outcomes and impact, and (3) supporting the implementation of UWW/EXP’s 2025-2030 strategic plan.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Performance Measurement:
Analyze and report on all relevant program data, including program outputs, client demographics and profiles, and client and coach outcomes
enerate and analyze CRM (i.e., Salesforce) reports on program indicators and metrics for a variety of purposes, including program monitoring, ah hoc reporting, funder reports, communications and marketing, etc.
Ensure overall integrity of Salesforce data through regular data audits and quality control processes
Contribute to the improvement of Salesforce data integrity through ongoing refinement of data fields
Provide ongoing staff support and training to ensure data collection quality (i.e., accuracy and completeness) and understanding
Summarize and present data using a variety of formats (e.g., reports, presentations, infographics, etc.), ensuring information is easily shared and understood by key stakeholders
Develop actionable recommendations to improve program delivery and quality
Create process maps to document the development of new processes, and to improve existing processes
Develop and maintain UWW/EXP data dictionary on program outputs and outcomes
Contribute to the development of a program manual that includes all relevant workflows, program policies and guidelines, and data entry procedures

WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
Post-secondary education in Human Services, Psychology, Planning, Public Administration, or a related field, combined with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Applied knowledge of performance measurement and evaluation methods and techniques including design, analyses, conceptual rigour, and knowledge dissemination
Excellent statistical software skills with high proficiency in Excel
Experience in qualitative research methods and analysis
Experience with databases and data management processes, including collection, monitoring, and audit protocols that ensure data integrity and facilitate analyses and reporting
Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency with word-processing/presentation/email/calendar software, search engines, and web-based platforms
Passion for social impact, equity, and supporting vulnerable populations
Understanding of and sensitivity to the lived experience of women and gender-diverse individuals experiencing low income and the intersecting needs and barriers of diverse groups, including new Canadians, people with disabilities, LGBTQS+ populations, Indigenous groups, and racialized groups.
Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high level of sensitivity, resilience, relatability, and emotional intelligence
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively share and present information to diverse stakeholders
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail
Excellent project management skills and proven ability to work on multiple projects, concurrently
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to work independently, as well as part of a team
Results-driven and demonstrated ability to meet key deliverables by deadlines and critical time periods
