We are seeking a People Operations Manager to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.

As part of the People Team and a key People Operations team member, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the People Operations team. As the People Operations Manager, you will directly manage a team of People Operations Generalists responsible for onboarding, offboarding, compliance, People software tools, reactive team member support, leaves, reporting and a variety of other essential work. In addition, you will be a member of the People Leadership team, collaborating with other People team leaders to make Uplight a destination employer.

What you get to do:

• Manage a team of People Operations Generalists
• Provide coaching and development to team members
• Set and manage team goals and priorities
• Oversee the team's work in onboarding, offboarding, compliance, People software tools, reactive team member support, leaves, reporting, and a variety of other essential work
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the People Operations team is aligned with the company's overall goals
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices
• Work in our beautiful Boulder office one day per week to build stronger relationships with team mates

What you bring to Uplight:

• You have 5+ years of experience in a people operations role
• You have a strong understanding of HR best practices and principles
• You have experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• You have experience managing and coaching direct reports
• You enjoy being of service to others and get satisfaction from efficient processes

Bonus Points:

• Experience with UKG and a passion for HR technology tools
• Tech company experience

Salary Range: $105,000-120,000 USD

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
