People Operations Coordinator

The Position

We are seeking a People Operations Contractor to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet. This will be a three month contract with possibility of extension.

What you get to do:

• Handle the onboarding process from offer acceptance to first day activities for US and Canadian team members (Sending documents to new hires be signed, entering information into HR systems, asking managers to complete a schedule for the first several weeks of work)
• Handle the offboarding process from resignation letter to last day activities for US and Canadian team members (Enter information into HR systems, send an email to the employee summarizing close out steps)
• Create and maintain electronic employee files
• Updating HRIS platforms related to transfers, promotions, title changes, manager changes, etc.
• Supporting projects such as background check reperformance, system moves (downloading data), setting up state tax accounts
• Backup support for interview scheduling

• Time management / prioritization skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in communicating with employees via email, slack and virtual meetings, and/or face to face conversations
• Experience with updating and maintaining data
• Ability to work with confidential information and deal with it appropriately
• Proficiency in Excel

Hourly Range: $24.00 to $28.00 USD

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
