CONTEXT
ChildFund Rugby partners to provide children and young people with opportunities to play, learn, and lead.

ChildFund Rugby partners to deliver high quality, evidence-based impact and has been appointed as a Social Impact Partner for 4 Rugby World Cups to further leverage the sport to deliver social impact.
The ChildFund Rugby Team also works with sports partners around the globe to ensure that the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in sport is a priority.
ChildFund Rugby is led by ChildFund Australia, an independent international development organisation that works to reduce poverty for children in developing communities and a member of the ChildFund Alliance – a global network of 12 organisations which assists almost 23 million children and their families in 70 countries.
KEY DUTIES
As the ChildFund Rugby Partnerships Assistant you will provide leadership for all administrative functions for the Training Experience Team and Scoping work. You will: i) manage partnership tools and processes for new partners; (ii) manage the pipeline and internal processes for new partners and donors; and, (iii) lead Training Experience administration including coordination of all key Training Experience documentation and engagement of consultant and trainer engagement and travel arrangements.
Partnerships Administration
- Manage and support documentation across the partnership lifespan for new partners;
- Organise and oversee scoping and scaling tool development and usage including consistency and standardisation;
- Ensure project cycle management, operations and organisational policy standards are documented for identified projects, identifying and rectifying any gaps;
- Support the documentation of compliance evidence across identified partnerships.
Donor and Supporter Administration
- Maintain project management platforms with accurate and up to date information for donor and pipeline projects;
- Assist with proposal and ad-hoc report writing and data entry;
- Coordinate across countries, including with partners, to ensure the timely provision of proposal and reporting information for identified donors and projects;
- Maintain frequent, high-quality and transparent communications with the ChildFund Rugby team.
Training Experience Administration
- Ensure user-friendly access to all Training Experience documentation, including curriculum, institutional strengthening and supporting season delivery resources across languages;
- Provide standardisation of frequently used Training Experience documents and tools;
- Lead on translation and formatting management of Training Experience and Partnerships and Impact Team files;
- Manage consultancy and service contracts and payments related to Training Experience and Partnerships team;
- Provide support to Training Experience and Partnerships in ensuring consultants and service providers deliver on contracts to agreed quality standards;
- Process all flight, travel-related visas and accommodation bookings for ChildFund Rugby Team;
- Process all other travel-related bookings for ChildFund Rugby Team;
- Provide project management services for discrete projects such as events, small pilot projects or specific training initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- University education in education, sport management, international development or a relevant field;
- Experience working with partners (sports partners an advantage);
- Experience of working with children and young people;
- Community development experience, with Sport for Development experience an advantage;
- Mentoring and coaching experience;
- Representation experience, including public speaking;
- Experience working in a complex partnership environment with multiple competing priorities;
- Successful team building and leadership experience;
- Fluency in English and relevant national language/s;
- A commitment to creating an environment that enables national partners to grow and achieve their full potential.
You are expected to remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding and Sexual Exploitation, Abuse or Harassment (SEAH) risks and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Child Safeguarding and Prevention of SEAH Policies.
