Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic, international non-profit organization that provides relief to survivors of natural disasters. This position is responsible for overseeing the management of existing US partner relationships as well as sourcing and developing new ones. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working for AHAH, preferably as a Project Manager, Program Director, and/or within the Development Department.

Principle Accountabilities
- Support the program team in identifying, developing, and managing partnerships across non-profit, public, and private stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness and report as needed peer organization activity, funding structures, and local community leadership within the disaster landscape.
- Work with Disaster Assessment Response Teams (DART) and provide on-site program support during both the response phase and the transition to recovery.
- Support the program team, remotely and/or in person, in organizing and coordinating all site visits of donors, potential donors, and partners. Make regular (monthly or bi-monthly) visits throughout the life of US programs.
- Facilitate coordination between Operations and Development teams, and streamline connectivity by implementing partner handovers, partnership training, and development opportunities to incoming partnership managers and/or program staff members.
- Monitor the accurate internal tracking of all US partner contacts in Salesforce and Google Drive.
- Research/develop contacts and ideas that build the overall capacity of AHAH, and in particular those for funding and regional/national partnerships.
- Facilitate organizational attendance to regional and national events.
- Support the Marketing and program teams in coordinating on-program media outreach and public relations opportunities.
- Deliver regular weekly/monthly reporting, inclusive of distributing monthly program updates to the board and all staff members.
- Work collaboratively with Operations leadership on preparedness efforts for systems building that streamlines use of partnership resources during disaster response.
- Bring a positive perspective to inspire connectivity and innovation both on- and off-program.
- We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff. While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required.

Position Requirements
- Education Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience and training in a relevant field
- Related Experience Experience working within a volunteer-related organization preferred. Experience with non-profit organizations a must.
- Special Competencies/Certifications Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets and Microsoft Office. Applicants need to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment. Ability to speak additional dialects or languages spoken
in Hawaii preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Typical starting salary is $16.70 USD. Annual pay increases may be available, up to a salary maximum of $17.20 for U.S. based employees.
