You will be working within the Dependency and Recovery (D&R) Services across multiple boroughs, that supports young and adult males involved in the Criminal Justice systems.
We aim to improve engagement of People on Probation (POPs) with substance misuse issues, linking them into community substance misuse services and other related services.
You will work closely with a team of practitioners, managers and services to maintain relationships across the Probation regions and Substance Misuse service networks.

Your role is to develop a strategic approach for organisations to work within all Forward Trust sites across multiple locations. You will act as the single point of contact and carry out the following activities:
Develop a stakeholder strategy plan for communication and engagement that promotes the D&R services, providing each contact with a D&R services information pack
Develop, maintain and establish relationships/referral pathways by compile a borough-by-borough directory of services for key contacts, offers and criteria. Always maintain an active and appropriately populated Directory of Services.
Facilitating ‘town hall’ presentations/deliver webinars to introduce our services and recovery-oriented mission; whilst aligning with local priorities/challenges
Arranging relevant presentations, Q/A sessions with key members of staff on a service/organisation basis, e.g. Local Authorities (LAs), SMS providers, NHS, Probation, Other CRS providers (digitally/face-to-face)
Engaging with each Probation Delivery Unit (PDU) Head and Prison Governors to agree future joint-working arrangements
Enhance knowledge of and access to voluntary sector support amongst people in criminal justice services
Be the single point of contact for Probation communications and other providers. Maintain regular communication and service updates.
Provide written reports and presentations for contract review meetings.

Map existing community services to improve access to them and identify gaps in provision, including building stronger strategic links with Healthcare partners at all levels
Support the Contracted Rehabilitation Services (CRS) Senior Leadership in the operational requirements of the function inclusive of Estates / Premise.
You will be responsible for contributing to the targets set by Forward and the local commissioners. One of the key targets will be measuring outcomes, so co-operative working relationships with other partner agencies is vital to this role.
You will work a combined pattern of remote working, including home working and travelling across the cluster of services you are responsible for attending partnership/essential meetings and building relationships.
