Pack Team Member

🇺🇸 Vernon, CA, US 📝 FULL-TIME 🎯 ENTRY LEVEL

We are looking for a Pack Team Member that can pack produce into boxes according to sets of instructions for shipment to consumers.  This is a full-time position, (Monday thru Friday 3am - 1pm) located in Vernon, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately completes all types of boxes and then cleans the packing area as needed.
  • Examines quality condition of product for suitability for packing.
  • Weighs, measures, or otherwise prepares product for packing.
  • Palletizes finished product.
  • Identifies appropriate products.
  • Operates conveyor and scans boxes into system.
  • Achieves understanding of and ensures compliance with the broad requirements of the Food
  • Safety Program. (Applies to Food Safety Certified Sites)
  • Demonstrates comprehension of food safety requirements for their person and their work area.

  • Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
  • Fills each station with its assigned produce and or supplies.
  • Applies appropriate labeling to boxes and product as needed.
  • Properly equips their work area with all safety and/or materials.
  • Folds boxes as needed.
  • Fills cages\wire bins with boxes as needed.
  • Fills sample boxes\bowls as needed.
  • Restack and reorganize boxes \ supplies when needed.
  • Load compactors as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:  Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
