About the Job:
The Overnight Desk Monitor ensures the safety and security of residents, staff, and facility. Controls front door access, greets, and assists residents, receives, and routes deliveries, and aids resident when appropriate. The Overnight Desk Monitor will champion all New Moms values including our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position works in our Oak Park office, seated in the foyer area of a residential housing program. This is a temporary position scheduled 16-24 hours per week.
Shift: Overnight shifts are scheduled between Friday 8pm and Sunday 8am.
Hourly Wage: $18.50/hour
Key Job Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Completed or enrolled in high school, or in an accredited GED program
Experience in non-profit or faith-based settings preferred
Previous monitoring or security experience preferred
Must possess strong communication skills
Must possess polite and pleasant demeanor
Ability to sit and/or walk for an extended period
Ability to work evening, overnight, and weekend hours
