- Develop understanding of customer and business requirements to define Critical to Quality aspects of new product, product improvement, and cost reduction projects
- Define the design approach to fulfill requirements
- Utilize problem-solving methods and classical and advanced design and analysis tools to synthesize potential solutions, evaluate trade-offs, prepare detailed designs, define and lead validation activities, and release into production
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly become familiar with the core product (Waukesha gas engines and gensets), design tools (Pro/E & AutoCAD), and business processes (technical review, documentation, Windchill CR & CNs, and Oracle Bills of Material).
