Job Summary:
The Functional Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud enabling manufacturing and supply chain best practices. The role serves as a strategic solutions owner, technical lead for all operations/supply chain functions and internal expert for all Oracle implementations and support services.
As an architect, you are expected to be an expert skilled in dealing with complex problems that are often unique to our business within Oracle. Ultimately, the Architect will be the owner of our Oracle architecture and related integrations and will be responsible for building the Oracle footprint for the Hub and Spokes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensuring the designed solution is aligned with performance and non-functional requirements
Building and managing relationships with executive leadership, Finance and Supply Chain business stakeholders
Striving for continuous improvement, optimization and building a support model
Executing system configuration, data loading, integration set up, support testing phases, and support the roll-out of the solution
Defining detailed functional requirements for automations and integrations
Understanding the end-to-end business process and the finer nuances within each business location
Understanding the flow of information across all Oracle modules such as HCM, SCM, ERP, WMS etc.
Conceptualizing the business flows by utilizing Oracle system expertise for manufacturing, costing and maintenance processes
Leading functional configuration and technical design process for all integration to and from the Fusion cloud
Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members
Being the primary point of contact for all Hub and Spoke operations related issues
Staying up to date with Oracle Fusion Cloud features and upgrades
Facilitating and managing changes and ensuring adherence to ITGC controls
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of hands-on experience with implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle SCM Cloud applications
10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business suite or other Oracle products
10+ years of hands-on experience with Supply Chain Execution concepts like Work Definition, Work Execution, Quality Management, MRO Inventory Management, Cost Accounting, Receipt Accounting, Supply Orchestration is a must
5+ years of hands-on experience with Product Information Management concepts like Items and related attribution, Manage Item Structures (BOM) Configurator Models, Manage Data Governance (New Item Requests, Change Orders and Custom Product Data Workflows) is a must
Must have experience implementing and integrating 3rd party mobile software solutions that integrate and leverage RF Device and Bar Code Scanning with Oracle Cloud for handling transactions within the functional areas of inventory, manufacturing, and quality and maintenance
Working knowledge of Finance topics (General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR))) is a must
Oracle Cloud certification in one or more SCM/ERP Cloud functions is a must
Experience at a publicly traded company and SOX compliance is a nice to have
Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and ability to create reports in OTBI preferred
Ability to travel to different locations (up to 10-30% of the time)
