Our Finance Applications team is our key unit to further support our finance eco system based on Oracle eBusiness Suite, which also consists of a number of other closely integrated tools. A well-functioning and up-to-date finance system supporting our key processes end-to-end is a key engine to support our organizations commercial and financial commitments and assists to drive the transformation of the company. Our Oracle solution is integrated into many of our production systems and enables us as a company to have “one source of truth” for our financial data.

The Daily Operations team focuses on establishing and maintaining a full overview of financial applications and their integrations to ensure stable end-to-end operations across the world. The Daily Operations tasks may be customer requests, regular maintenance routines or ad-hoc tasks requested by other stakeholders.

We are seeking a Oracle Finance Operations Analyst
for our Daily Operations team based in Gdynia, Poland.

In your role you will:

• Support daily maintenance of Oracle Finance (E-Business Suite) to ensure complete end-to-end processing
• Support and develop processes in Automic application helping with automation of daily processing, monitoring as well as handling opening and closing periods in Oracle Finance
• Ensure processes for monitoring and detecting system failures are in place and are correctly used, and you will conduct proactive monitoring, root cause analysis and future resolutions for PEC related issues
• Contribute to coordination of Period/Year End Close activities including cooperation with key stakeholders to agree on level of service and appropriate deadlines
• Plan and implement both service improvements and the handover of new functionalities from Finance Applications Development and Support team
• Periodically review the processing landscape setup to secure technical integrity of system operations
• Ensure cases are dispatched to appropriate Finance Applications team, prioritized and resolved within agreed time
• Keep process and technical documentation up-to-date
• Support and improve internal processes of customer request execution in accordance with SLA agreements
• Embed customer centricity in the service delivered
• Develop own knowledge, skills and experience and share with the team members

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar
• Working experience related to production software support
• Knowledge of Oracle Finance (E-Business Suite) or Automic application is a Plus
• Good knowledge of GL and FA module (knowledge of other modules like AP, AR, PA is an advantage)
• Ability to analyze, configure and resolve issues by leveraging technical languages and tools e.g. SQL, Automic, SQL Developer
• General understanding of the process areas within scope for the Business team from an end-user perspective
• Experience of resolving incidents by addressing the root causes
• Proven track record of having an eye to details
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions on incoming cases
• Ability to plan & organize own daily tasks
• Strong sense of operational continuity
• Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes (nice to have)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
