The Role:
We are looking for a committed individual to join us in the role of Manager, Operations Planning and Analysis.
The Manager will be a key player in Svante’s journey to full commercialization. This person will be a member of Svante’s Global Supply Chain and Operations team but will work broadly with various departments within Svante including, Manufacturing, Product Development, Facilities, Quality, Finance and other Svante departments as required. The primary role of the Manager will be to develop a “single source of truth” for all operational data and information. These data include, but are not limited to, Bills of Material, Product Specifications, Formulation Recipes, Product Costing (current and target), Inventories, Production Control Data, Quality Records, and Manufacturing Yields.
Svante is implementing a suite of manufacturing software, the cornerstone of which is Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP). The Manager will be responsible for the performance and use of the MRP system, building out capabilities and driving internal efficiency. Production Planning is a key requirement of the MRP system and the Manager will be responsible for this activity.
Svante’s operations environment is data rich. As the company moves towards commercialization, data will be generated at a rapid pace. Working closely with Finance, Quality, and IT departments, the Manager will develop and implement standards for information management, facilitating easy storage and retrieval of operational data.

Relevant university degree – Business, Finance, Operations Research, Information Technology preferred
Minimum five years of relevant job experience in a manufacturing environment including using an advanced MRP system
Accomplished self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong communicator with an ability to use an appropriate assortment of verbal, written and presentation strategies
Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams and diverse groups of stakeholders
Adaptable to change
Ability to develop and deliver presentations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of initiative
Good time management, with ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Strong customer service skills, including ability to build credibility and trust
Excellent listening skills
Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound recommendations
Aptitude for data visualization, report building, and data-driven storytelling
Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tool an asset
Ability to think strategically
