Position Summary: The Operations Manager will help implement and improve programming support for the Program Operations team by providing effective process management, creating ongoing program supports, and managing external relationships.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement people-centered processes and workflows to further program goals, both for individual programs and cross-agency needs.
- Lead program vendor acquisition and related supports to ensure efficient utilization of resources and ease of use for program staff.
- Develop program policy and process supports to facilitate high-quality implementation and agency best practices.
- Manage external program service requests and participate in internal distribution to program and agency leadership.
- Provide Strategic Management supports as needed to ensure ongoing compliance with contract deliverables and adherence to best practice principles.
- Program Audit Tracking and Storage.
- Assists with contracts to meet all terms and deliverables.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience/Training
- Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s Degree preferred, in public/non-profit administration, business, social work, human services, or a related area from an accredited university program preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the education, human service, youth development, criminal justice, or social service field is required.
Skills/Abilities
- Highly organized, strategic thinker, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks, handle pressure and meet deadlines. Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Writes and presents effectively; adjusts to fit the audience and the message; strongly gets a message.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and other work management platforms.
- Strong analytical and communication.
