Title: Operations & Finance Manager
Reports to: Director of the Heart Department
Status: Salaried, Exempt
Position Summary:
The Operations & Finance Manager is a critical role at the Social Justice Learning Institute and joins the SJLI Heart Department (Operations, Finance, HR, and Education) to support keeping our accounts payable and receivable organized and streamlined while also holding down the office administration, people operations, and systems work for the organization. The Operations & Finance Manager will maintain financial routines, contract and agreements, operational processes, tools, and systems that enhance the effectiveness of our organization, align with our deep equity values, and outpaces the pace of change. Must be able to handle and resolve inquiries regarding billing problems and disputes, and also gather, organize, input and monitor all financial and operational products and procedures of the organization.

Possess a valid CA Driver's License
Able to obtain a Live Scan clearance
Availability to occasionally work on some weeknights and weekends
Able to form strong relationships with a wide range of constituents, including, but not limited to team members, staff and leadership
Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Qualifications:
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time, exempt position. The salary is $85,000.00 and commensurate with experience. COVID Workplace Safety Requirements
This position is currently hybrid with remote and in office activities, 5 days a month. Occasional requirements include interacting with employees, donors, vendors and others who may or may not be vaccinated or recently tested. You can wear personal protection equipment (PPE) at your discretion. SJLI adheres to the directives provided by the LA County Department of Public Health protocols. Currently, weekly COVID testing is offered to all SJLI team members, as part of our COVID-19 Prevention Plan.
