Oxfam Aotearoa is hiring an
Pacific Humanitarian Register – Expressions of Interest
The Oxfam New Zealand Pacific Humanitarian Register (PHR) comprises a pool of experienced humanitarian personnel, available to provide leadership and technical surge capacity to Country Offices in Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia during the early stages of emergency responses.
Oxfam New Zealand’s register members have a range of different competencies and are based in a variety of locations across the Asia-Pacific region. Since 2010, they have undertaken 22 deployments varying in length from one week to six months.
Oxfam New Zealand would like to hear from suitably qualified professionals who would be interested in applying to join the register.
We are looking for people who are based in the Pacific region, and have relevant experience in one or more of the following professional/technical areas:
· Cash & voucher transfers;
· Water & sanitation;
· Humanitarian needs & capacity assessment;
- Logistics; and
- Emergency food security and vulnerable livelihoods.
