Northeast Transportation Market Segment Lead

Job Description

Dewberry is seeking a Northeast Transportation Market Segment Lead to be the catalyst to leverage their own resume and Dewberry's local and national transportation design portfolio to support our current team to further grow our practice in the Northeast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, deploying Dewberry's deep national transportation portfolio to actively preposition for those opportunities and grow our transportation practice. Must have a BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering and at least 25 years of experience with large public agencies in the Northeast market. The candidate will be primarily responsible for collaborating with our current Transportation leadership to generate inflow of new projects, develop and maintain close professional relationships with client personnel and potentially play a role on projects.

Responsibilities

• Strong existing network across infrastructure owners and potential teaming partners.
• Active involvement in industry organizations. Interest and ability to present at regional conferences.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Minimum 25 years of experience with public sector transportation clients and projects including transportation, highway and roadway design.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree; advanced engineering degrees a plus.
• PE and ability to get PE in multiple states.
• 15+ years’ experience in project management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Local Experience is required.
