ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB seeks a Noise Specialist to join our team in North Carolina (Raleigh or Charlotte offices) to work collaboratively with our corporate noise team. VHB is a multi-faceted team of engineers, scientists, planners, and designers who partner with clients in the transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy industries, as well as federal, state, and local governments. VHB provides noise and vibration services for a wide range of projects across these markets throughout the planning, engineering and construction phases. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage projects, supervise and oversee work conducted by others on our noise and air quality team, conduct noise and vibration studies for a wide range of projects (with a focus on North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) projects), prepare technical reports, represent VHB at meetings with key clients, and support public outreach efforts to communicate study findings. This position will also provide opportunities to support and lead noise and vibration studies.
