Propiedades Adelante will be a MEDA-affiliated property management entity that will provide quality property management of MEDA’s properties to ensure residents have affordable and secure housing. The entity will start by managing MEDA’s small site preservation properties and grow to eventually manage MEDA’s tax credit production properties in the pipeline and portfolio.

As the Night Manager, you will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to safeguarding housing in the dynamic urban landscape of San Francisco.
Reporting directly to the Property Manager, you will live and work on-site at 2901-2909 16th Street, San Francisco. In your role as a night manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the overall well-being and security of the property. Your primary responsibility is to be readily available on-call via cell phone, ensuring a swift response to building emergencies.
Your role involves providing prompt assistance to tenants facing lock-outs and fostering courteous and professional relationships with residents. It is imperative that you exercise good judgment in emergencies, calling on maintenance personnel or emergency services as needed, and directing and remaining present during on-site incidents. Your focus on our portfolio will be instrumental in achieving our goals of property preservation and creating a positive living experience for our residents.
Specifically, you will:
Live On-Site. A partial to full rent credit will be issued as compensation, commensurate with the hours worked, including overtime, paid based on minimum wage.
Be Available On-Call After Hours
Responds Promptly to After Hour Emergency Calls
Redirect Calls To Maintenance Supervisor or Emergency Personnel As Needed
Direct Emergency Personnel And Vendors During Emergency Visits
Stay On-Site and Attentive During Emergency Visits
Know Utility Locations In Case of Emergency Or Service Shut-Offs
Assist With Light Maintenance As Needed
Support Building Cleanliness Throughout Property
Perform Lock-Outs
Ensure Building Security And Privacy
Enforce All House Rules and Policies
Conduct Relationships with Residents In a Respectful and Professional Manner
Direct Resident Requests to the Proper Departments
Record Incidents, Unusual Occurrences, and Emergencies that Happen On Property
Perform Other Duties As Assigned
YOUR KEYS TO SUCCESS
To perform successfully in this role, you will need to leverage these key qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Graduate of a Technical or Trade School
2+ years of Related Experience (Maintenance, Cleaning, etc.)
Demonstrated Understanding of Light Maintenance
Be Self-Motivated and Organized
Detail-Oriented and Possesses a Good Sense of Ownership
Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
Computer Skills- Google Workspace, Yardi Knowledge a Plus
Can Lift Up to 50+ Pounds and Climb a Ladder
Working Knowledge of Fair Housing, Tenant and Landlord Rights
Knowledge of San Francisco Housing Authority and Section 8 Rules and Regulations
Experience Working in Low-Income and Affordable Housing
Understand the Property Emergency Procedure Protocol
Bilingual Spanish and English fluency is Required
