NFP Digital Consultant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated NFP Digital Consultant, to bring to life Infoxchange’s mission of Technology for Social Justice.

About the role

Infoxchange is leading a cross-sector partnership to develop a Digital Transformation Hub that supports not-for-profits in addressing the remote working challenges presented by COVID. The Hub will also assist them on a broader transformation journey which will build their capability and resilience for a post COVID-19 world.

The role is responsible for supporting NFPs by providing advice and supporting webinar/training delivery across two primary streams of work:

  1. The Asia-Pacific Digital Transformation Program, funded by Google which is working across 12 APAC countries to strengthen NFP digital capability.

  2. The Digital Transformation Hub (www.digitaltransformation.org.au), which has supported more than 15,000 Australian NFPs since it was launched in mid 2021

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Assessing non-profit sector technology needs and identify technology priorities to support business priorities

  • Provide practical technology advice through individual consultations, mentoring and webinars to non-profits across technology domains that include:

    • Technology foundations - PCs, network, servers, telephony, email, file sharing and collaboration infrastructure (office 365 & google workspace)
    • Information systems – service delivery & corporate systems - client/case management, finance and HR systems
    • Digital marketing – website, email, social media and fundraising processes and systems
    • IT management – IT strategy/planning, governance, business continuity and IT project management
    • Cybersecurity –protect information from online threats and accidental disclosure
  • Support the design and delivery of programs that build the capability of NFP staff across the Asia Pacific region.

  • Undertake activities including requirements analysis, report writing, data analysis, solution design, and training.

Key selection criteria

To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:

1. Skilled at data analysis, with excel and preferably tools like Microsoft Power BI or Google Data Studio

2. Ability to provide expert advice across non-profit technology domains, including at least two of:

  • Technology foundations
  • Information systems
  • Digital marketing
  • IT management
  • Cybersecurity

3. Able to undertake structured analyses in a logical and efficient manner

4.Able to demonstrate excellent written communication skills, including contributing or leading writing business reports and recommendations.

5. Strong verbal communications skills, with proven experience supporting IT managers and executives

6. Comfortable working autonomously and in a self-managed way, using initiative to draw on the expertise of those around you

7. Good awareness of NFP technology challenges and passionate about the sector

8. Experience presenting to audiences.
