Job Description:
DNV Maritime in Japan is seeking a ship's Project Manager Field [PMF] to be engaged primarily with the Japanese shipbuilding industry:
The candidate will also be responsible for enhancing and strengthening the DNV Maritime position in Japanese shipbuilding industries.
It should be noted that there will also be opportunities for the candidate to experience and learn about technical issues more deeply through discussions internally with other surveyors stationed globally as well as through actual newbuilding projects at shipbuilders.
The successful candidate will be provided with internal training and qualification schemes.
DNV is looking for a person with ideally at least a Bachelor's degree in naval architecture or Marine Engineering, and actual experiences for shipbuilding industries or in other classification societies.
DNV Japan has two main offices in Kobe and Yokohama respectively. A successful candidate might choose between this offices as place of origin but must expect to spend majority of time at shipyard premises.
