SWCA is seeking a Natural Resources Intern for Fall 2022 to support both office and field natural resources projects in Colorado, Wyoming, and neighboring states. The Natural Resources Intern can be based out of either SWCA’s Broomfield or Fort Collins (cumulatively “Front Range”) offices. SWCA’s Front Range offices offer an exciting place to work in a unique environment in proximity to world class outdoor recreation with a talented, multi-disciplinary team of natural and cultural resource professionals. Established in 1981, SWCA has a long-standing presence in the west and is known for sound science and creative solutions.
The Natural Resources Intern position requires a demonstrated interest in natural sciences, a good attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills. The Natural Resources Intern will be a part of team that values individual talents, team collaboration, contributions to local communities in Colorado and other western states and finding professional fulfillment by helping to support to complex environmental projects. This position is a great opportunity for a Natural Resources Intern to enter and launch a career in environmental sciences supported by leadership focused on the professional development of team members.
This internship will last during the Fall of 2022 (September - December).

The Natural Resources Intern position is both field and office based. The Intern will support project managers and field leads with a variety of natural resources surveys such as wetland delineations, wildlife surveys, botanical surveys, etc. There will be opportunities for office work, data clean-up, reporting, and other office-oriented tasks to support the Natural Resources team.
