KEY DUTIES
Key area 1: Development Effectiveness Technical Aspect
- Support MELM Identify and describe the key components of the technical aspect of development effectiveness, such as: Indicator Development, Data Collection and Management, Data Analysis and Reporting, Evaluation Methods and Quality Assurance.
- Create cutting-edge M&E software, and roll out IT monitoring system, and enable staff and partners capacity building to leverage real-time monitoring data
- Support MELM in timely submission of all MEL-related documentations, and program team in preparing country-level output tracking report as well as review quarterly, six monthly and end year report.
Key area 2: Organizational Development
- Support MELM to establish knowledge management centre, evaluation reports, project files, baseline reports, case studies, outcome survey reports, other program related files;
- Support MELM in develop and implement capacity building initiatives, such as workshops, training sessions, or mentoring programs for staff and partners.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff and partner to enhance their M&E skills and knowledge.
- Improve data collection, management, and analysis processes to ensure knowledge management and documented and ensure the use of standardized data collection tools and methodologies.
- Implement data quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Support MELM establish a reporting framework that outlines the frequency, format, and content of M&E reports.
- Encourage the use of M&E findings for decision-making and program improvement.
- Foster a culture of learning and knowledge management sharing within the organization.
Key area 3: Networking and Representation
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
- Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and other events related to M&E.
- Collaborate with external partners to gather and share M&E data and best practices.
- Participate in relevant networks and forums to stay updated on M&E trends and developments.
- Advocate for the organization's M&E priorities and sharing findings with external stakeholders.
- Participate in Program team meetings and contribute to all reviews and forward planning for the country program;
- Coordinate with ITO to develop M&E software, maintenance and update
- Participate in relevant MEL meetings with peers from other countries when requested;
- Perform other tasks as requested by MELM.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Specify the required qualifications, skills, and experience for M&E principles and practices
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, international development).
- Proven experience in networking, representation, or advocacy roles.
- Knowledge of cutting-edge applications including Kobo Toolbox, ODK Collect, SPSS, and advanced EXEL.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding or sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment (SEAH) risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding and PSEAH policy and procedures, and conduct yourself consistent with those policies.
