You are an experienced scientist specializing in Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA), with additional interests that include ecological restoration, coastal resiliency, ecosystem service evaluations, ecotoxicity, and/or ecological risk assessments. You enjoy managing challenging project tasks, being part of a team that engages with clients and stakeholders, designing and conducting supporting studies, and documenting your work through technical reports, presentations, and possibly peer-reviewed articles. Your experience to describe and quantify lost services resulting from a release includes the use of site-specific information in place of default assumptions and standard methods. Your long-term interests are focused on innovative approaches to resolving complex matters, such as assessment of emerging contaminants, population modeling, scripted and probabilistic analyses, and allocation of responsibility. About the Job
We are seeking a mid-level scientist who specializes in NRDA and ecological restoration. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and experienced project or project task manager who can provide technical and strategic leadership on client projects and who will assist in attracting new clients by creating a strong external reputation. The candidate will bring varied experience in NRDA and is comfortable interacting with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:
M.S. or Ph.D. in environmental sciences, ecology, toxicology, biology, chemistry, or environmental health, with training and experience in restoration ecology
Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company-match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability, paid sick leave (80 hours per year), paid vacation (12 days or 15 days; determined by title at hire), paid holidays (9 days per year), and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be pro-rated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
