The Media and Public Relations Manager will be dedicated to build and protect the global reputation of the company through regular contact with journalists, accompanying interviews and background meetings with the most senior leadership team, supporting group-wide communication projects and key events, and delivering on the overall communications strategy.
The role reports into the company’s Global Head of Media Relations and contributes to a global, positive, coherent, and credible image to promote the company as the most advanced in its sector. As a company spokesperson, you will be managing media activities and media requests on a regular basis and assess new risks when they arise.
This job requires an experienced media and public relations practitioner with the ability to counsel senior executives in mission critical moments. The ideal candidate has seasoned spokesperson experience and demonstrated issues management for a well-established company/brand.
Promote the positive image of the group and its top executives across a broad range of media platforms from international to national media outlets and industry trade press as well as architecture and design outlets
Plan, implement and manage public relations programs
Support executives with media interviews and background meetings – briefings, quote checks and follow ups
Support, develop, challenge and lead narratives, media releases, key messages and Q&As for financial and non-financial communications
Manage media requests and coordinate requests internally with all relevant business stakeholders
Adopt a proactive and progressive approach to identifying and managing issues to ensure the Group takes and retains leadership positions on topics of strategic global importance for the business
Provide senior level counsel to management during times of crisis
Fluent in English as well as in German or French with strong written and verbal skills.
