Reporting to the Plant Manager the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for providing support to our team in the safest way possible and ensuring the company’s equipment remains operational.
Duties include maintaining, repairing removing and installing stationary industrial equipment in an industrial plant environment, welding, fabricating, analyzing maintenance procedures and troubleshooting. The Mechatronic/Industrial Electrician will work as part of a team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. This individual will have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services. The Mechatronic/Industrial Electrician will also routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components to ensure they continue to operate safe, efficient, and effective.
In addition, the job could include the erection of machinery and he or she can dismantle, maintain, repair, reassemble and moving of machinery. This includes such tasks as leveling, aligning, & installing machinery on foundations or base plates, or setting, leveling, & aligning electric motors or other power sources such as pumps which you would typically connect with type of coupling.

Primary Responsibilities:
Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control electrical systems, devices and equipment
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment
Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records
Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Work on other electrical projects as required
Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, regional, and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications
Maintain and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, i.e. pumps, conveyor belts, shredders, piping, platework, tanks, agitators; compressors, pneumatics, hydraulics
Responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance activities on all plant equipment
