Purpose of the role:

As a Mechanical Engineer Co-op, you will be participating in the design of RAM products and components incorporating the latest technological solutions developed by Product Engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are a 3rd or 4th year university student majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• You have completed 1 to 3 Co-op terms involving mechanical design.
• You have knowledge with Design principles, CAD (PTC Creo preferred).

What success looks like in this role:

• You will deliver component designs to Svante and its customers meeting all assigned performance criterion and project timelines provided by the RAM Product Leader.
• You will contribute to design verification of components and sub-systems of the RAM.
• You will support design decisions with clear analysis and calculations documented according to Svante and engineering standards.
• You will support concept, prototype assembly and integration, and production, of digital and physical machine build.
• You will produce documentation for designs, assembly instructions and manuals.
