Job Summary:
Mechanical Engineer - Proces Improvement (Kingston ON, Rochester NY, Gilbert AZ, and Tuscaloosa AL)
Reporting to the VP of North American Spoke Operations, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the continuous improvement and development of new processes that support Li-Cycle’s network of lithium-ion battery recycling plants (“Spokes”). The ideal candidate is expected to pro-actively identify where processes and machinery can be adapted and optimized to ensure efficient process flow, cost effectiveness, and product quality. They must possess strong project management skills and be capable of developing and implementing new technology from initial concepts through to project execution. The candidate will be required to travel to all our current North American operations as well as support in the operational readiness of new plants.
