Material Handler

Ambri, an energy startup commercializing an innovative battery technology first developed at MIT, is seeking an experienced Material Handler.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving and shipping out parts both physically and systemically, familiarity with UPS and Fedex shipping software as well as inventory control software is a strong plus
• Tracking parts once received and transporting them to designated areas to ensure timely fulfillment – performing inventory transactions as required
• Safely operate a forklift (following appropriate training)
• Assist in product inventory counts and organization as needed
• Perform general housekeeping tasks
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift more than 30 pounds without assistance

Requirements:

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate math skills.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Data entry skills and basic knowledge of inventory control is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal guidance
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
