Marketing Manager, Europe

ABOUT THE ROLE

In order to fuel and support 3Degrees’ international growth we are looking for a skilled marketer with a proven track record to provide dedicated in-market expertise and marketing  support. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to make the world a better place, by contributing to our mission to help our customers take urgent action on climate change.  The manager will be instrumental in the execution of the EMEA Go-To-Market Plan, and will be responsible for developing expertise specific to the priority products/services for our EMEA sales team, including mining, analyzing, and sharing customer, competitive, and market knowledge. This position will support a wide variety of tactics within the marketing plan, including the development of thought leadership content, sales collateral, event and webinar strategy, and paid media execution. This role may also provide support for expansion into other global markets.

This is a full-time position preferably located in the UK, The Netherlands or Norway, ideally not far from London, Amsterdam or Oslo. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The EMEA Marketing Manager’s primary responsibilities will be:

  • Serve as lead strategic partner for our EMEA Commercial business team, significantly supporting 3Degrees’ EMEA  strategy and expansion initiatives; you will develop deep subject matter expertise for our products/services, including customer, competitive, and market insights that will be analyzed and shared across the cross-functional team.

  • Play a pivotal role in the refinement of the Go-To-Market plan strategy, including customer persona development, segmentation, and journey optimization.

  • Develop time sensitive and market-specific thought leadership content, inclusive of  blogs, webinar topics, white papers, etc, and manage translation of the content into various languages, when required.

  • Develop and execute cohesive, impactful integrated marketing activations for client announcements and other campaigns, including but not limited to case studies,  webinars, event panels, press releases, etc.

  • Develop sales enablement tools (decks, one-pagers, etc.) to support the needs of the EMEA business development and product teams; if language translation is required, you will manage that process with market-specific contractors.

  • Research, recommend and lead the activation of key events, including 3Degrees-hosted and partner webinars, and sponsorships that are aligned with the G0-ti-market objectives.

WHAT WE SEEK

Required

  • 6-8 years of experience in B2B marketing planning and execution, including a progression of responsibility
  • Proven ability to execute cross-functional integrated marketing campaigns to deliver on business goals
  • Superior writing skills, with the ability to write a range of compelling short and long-form B2B content such as  blogs, white papers, and case studies
  • Experience capturing, synthesizing, and using data  to inform decisions
  • Excellent ability to manage a variety of projects while maintaining exceptional attention to details
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize
  • Shared passion for our mission to help businesses and their customers take urgent action on climate change
  • Superior English language skills (oral and written)

Preferred

  • Previous experience with the renewable energy and/or sustainability industry is strongly preferred
  • Previous team management experience
  • Event management experience
  • Experience with Pardot
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Familiarity with German, Spanish, French, or Italian

  • Smooth and timely execution of Go-To-Market Plans
  • Increased volume (as defined by the Go-To-Market Plans) of high quality content
  • EMEA business partnerships team and key business units feels increased service level and heighted subject matter expertise
  • Business Partnership team and business unit partners are well armed with key sales and marketing tools
  • Customer, competitive, and market insights developed and shared with cross-functional team members on regular cadence
  • EMEA Commercial KPIs on track to hit year-end goals
  • EMEA marketing qualified leads (MQLs) on track to hit year-end goal
  • Improved 3Degrees brand recognition in EMEA, specifically for key product/service areas
