Position Purpose & Impact:
The Marketing Manager, Philippines role is a critical role at Plastic Bank with co-responsibility
of relevant revenue growth for Social EPR, leading adaptation of the Global marketing
strategies and creating local strategies too & lastly directly interfacing with key strategic
partners. This role will be the conduit to the Global Marketing teams, providing country specific
insights while partnering with local cross functional partners to deliver objectives. The ideal
candidate will bring broad marketing experience combined with proven ability to drive brand
awareness & consideration, agency and project management, sales support, marketing
operations delivery & customer requirement delivery.
Essential Responsibilities:
● Be an expert about local market landscape, competition and EPR developments
● Develop and deploy a powerful local marketing plan for Social EPR, leveraging and
adapting global resources to local EPR context and creating new relevant assets for
higher performance.
● Collaborates with the Country manager and Sales local team to implement local
marketing strategies.
● Interacts and work with PR, creative, production agencies & local NGO, government
bodies as required
● Develops annual budgets, defines KPIs and manages via the delivery and execution of
these key performance indicators and deliverables.
● Contributes to localization/executes cutting edge marketing campaigns developed by
global marketing team.
● Works to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
● Be the key point of contact for Growth B2B Mkt agency to test and optimize Social EPR
campaigns, leveraging earned & paid marketing efforts.
● Supports country manager, sales team in thought leadership, trade events & localizing
sales collaterals.
● Directly work with Strategic customers. Ensure fulfillment of marketing deliverables for
local partners, global partners with impact in Egypt
Success Factors (1 Year):
● Increase brand B2B awareness through earned media: PR and partnerships
● Work in close partnership with growth agency and local sales team to Improve local
B2B Inbound Funnel for more Acquisition (leads) and Conversion (revenue)
● Excellence in execution in delivering marketing deliverables for strategic customers
● Support country manager with local marketing priorities.
● Project management - Lead local marketing projects and Support Global brand teams
on ground support
Minimum Candidate Requirements:
Core Competencies & Skills:
● 5+ years of work experience in marketing including managing communications,
planning, implementing, and managing marketing initiatives.
● Experience with B2B marketing not mandatory but appreciated
● Demonstrable marketing efforts and results.
● Strong time management, follow-up and organizational skills.
● Excellent oral and written communication required, as well as exceptional presentation
skills.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment;
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Qualifications/Certificates:
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
