About the role

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our future goals. Reporting to the head of marketing, you will provide support on a wide range of administrative duties as well as assisting in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

Main duties:

• Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.

• Assisting in organising and coordinating marketing events.

• Supporting with managing and updating company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).

• Collecting key data from marketing campaigns.

• Assisting in marketing and advertising promotional activities including social media posts.

• Supporting with our bid and tenders process on an ad hoc basis.

• Support with the upkeep of our marketing and sales systems such as HubSpot.

• Support with external supplier communication and coordination.

• Support with general marketing activity research and preparation as delegated by the Head of Sales & Marketing.

About you

You will have a strong desire to learn along with a professional drive within this role. A solid understanding of different marketing techniques, alongside excellent verbal and written communications skills would be a great starting point.

Other key skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft including word, outlook and PowerPoint.

• High attention to detail.

• Previous experience in working with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools, Online analytics)

• A real interest and passion for marketing.

• Start date: July/August

• Salary: £21,000 - £27,000 depending on experience.

• Location: Home based

A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle would be essential but not desirable.
