Overview
The Marketing Intern is part of team that focuses on advancing member recruitment and brand building nationwide. Primary responsibilities include assisting with the rollout of new branding, maintaining templates and libraries, placing advertisements, coordinating distribution of collateral and helping to develop content for social media, newsletters, email campaigns and blogs.

Responsibilities
Writing/Editing
- Write articles and staff profiles for Ampact’s internal news site.
- Help curate, edit and create content for social media, blogs, newsletters and email campaigns.
- Make online copyedits, schedule content, post blogs and deploy newsletters.
Marketing
- Utilize templates to build PowerPoint decks and promotional materials.
- Provide partner sites and recruiters with concierge marketing support by customizing materials, coordinating backpack flyer orders and fulfilling requests for promotional materials.
- Place orders for digital and print advertising.
Administrative
- Assist with ad reporting and tracking monthly marketing expenses.
- Coordinate fulfillment for refer-a-friend promotions.
- Document department processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiar with tools and platforms including HootSuite, MailChimp and Microsoft Office
