The Digital Content Specialist in Marketing develops, designs and implements content related to web, email, mobile apps, social media and print marketing, service and product merchandising, special events, promotions, partnerships, and company communications. Works closely with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm ideas, develop content strategies, and ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all channels. This role requires strong writing skills and digital content design experience. This is a full-time position located in West Sacramento, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produces content for various online platforms, including website/mobile app articles, blog posts, social media posts, email promotions, newsletters, sales materials, internal communication and more.
- Brainstorms, researches, validates, and develops clear and compelling content that adheres to required branding and style guidelines and engages and addresses the needs and interests of our customers.
- Ensures that all grammar, spelling, flow, tone, and style are appropriate for the project.
- Experienced using a variety of content and design development and management tools.
- Collaboratively works with marketing, internal teams and external partners to source information, images, assets and copy from multiple sources.
- Maintains a schedule for updates, archiving, and ongoing production of content.
- Helps analyze content needs and studies content consumption data to optimize content.
- Supports marketing plans: identify database targets, create schedule, prepare, and distribute content, coordinates marketing schedules and placements and reports results.
- Maintains merchandising product content and service descriptions, specifications, digital assets, and categorizations.
- Develops, monitors, and coordinates Company’s online and social media presence, including updating website with new content such as blog posts, farm news, events and recipes.
- Participates in customer and market research to identify and report opportunities for development.
- Maintains inventory of photo work, artwork, and film, and maintains marketing literature, archive files, and sample files.
- Able to get along and work effectively with others is required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Keeps up to date on trends in the industry to drive innovation and engages as a representative of fieldTRUE’s leadership with external business partners, vendors, trade, and other professional organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field plus two or more (2+) years’ experience working in Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of developing business content for web, email, mobile app, social and print media.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing content/design principles and development/management tools.
- Technical expertise in internet software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of basic office equipment. Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.
- Inquisitive, collaborative and action-oriented.

- Demonstrated skill creating digital content, flyers, brochures, blog/social media posts.
