Job Summary: The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Marketing Coordinator, who will help candi to lead the revolution of solar. Given that candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.
Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following for the Global team:
- Attending weekly marketing team status meetings
- Pulling weekly digital stats performance data
- Pulling competitor data (monthly)
- Assessing SquareSpace insights (monthly)
- Ensuring new projects and stats are updated across all our assets (website, portfolio docs, social media) (monthly)
- Managing the info@candi.solar email address: assessing leads and passing on to relevant sales person(s) or other via Salesforce where applicable
- Pulling and assessing leads data from Salesforce
- Assisting with all marketing department activities as and where required, i.e. SEO, Google Ads, Blog, PR, Events, Social Media, Customer Satisfaction Surveys
- Social media management: managing our social media platforms including reverts to online activity, posting organic and paid content
- Managing the implementation of the marketing content calendar
- Liaising with copywriter(s) on key pieces of content that require compilation and/or editing
- Ensuring internal and external marketing tools are regularly updated
- Managing the trusted partner programme (from end Q3 2022)
- Assisting with ad hoc investor communication
- Assisting with pulling stats/insights for strategies
- Drafting ad hoc copy (long and short format)
Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg [combined with working from home]
Hours: Full time.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a similar field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools.
- Must be very comfortable working in the digital realm, using tools such as Microsoft Office, CRMs and other remote working tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and come up with proactive solutions to any problems that arise.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multitask.
- Proactive regarding potential opportunities.
- A team-player, embracing an attitude of “How can I help?”
- Strong analytical skills to analyse metrics/stats and create reports.
- Experience working with LinkedIn Advertising, Google Analytics and Google Ads a plus.
