Local Unit & Position Description
We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to manage DNV – Supply Chain & Product Assurance (SCPA) divisions marketing and communications activities for China, Taiwan & Hong Kong.
The SCPA Marketing & Communications unit is tasked with supporting our organization in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient, and eco-friendly future; through broadening our reputation as a thought leader and supporting revenue generation. To achieve this goal, it will be important to implement integrated marketing communication strategies on a global, regional, and local scale. The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a localised strategic plan, which will include both external and internal communications; event marketing, pr and media relations, and effective digital marketing programs.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications in the Supply Chain and Product Assurance business area, the Marketing Communications Manager will work to meet business requirements, goals, and KPIs and will have the overall responsibility for building and maintaining the DNV reputation for the region.

The Marketing Communication Manager will have a range of responsibilities, including:
- Acts as professional advisor to the business on a day-to-day basis, reaching out pro-actively to business managers, experts, and consultants.
- Translates complex business strategies and tactics into integrated marketing and communications programs, takes care of the implementation and measures based on SMART targets.
- Works with our experts and consultants to create and maintain effective tools and materials, including fact sheets, case studies, blog posts, op-eds, presentations, product/service overviews, and other collateral.
- Pro-actively builds relationships with local media, initiates and writes press releases and drives media campaigns.
- Manages social media activity for the region to create higher brand awareness, thought leadership, improved relations, and lead generation.
- Develops and executes an event program to support the business, both at regional and global level
- Ensures regional webpages are updated and relevant.
- Supports the business with stakeholder relations and issue management.
- Monitors and reports on Regional/BU marketing KPIs in a structured and regular manner to Regional/BU Director to ensure return on marketing investment can be measured.
- Plays an internal role in educating employees and managers about the brand, business wins, and market opportunities and developing brand ambassadors.
Position Qualifications
- University degree in Marketing, Media management, Business Administration or similar
- At least five years of external communications or marketing experience in an agency or B2B business environment
- Experience of working in a complex, multinational environment would be beneficial
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with marketing automation, SEO, Google Analytics, and Oracle Eloqua marketing automation suite, or a comparable alternative platform
- Proven expertise in managing and utilizing key Chinese digital platforms, including WeChat, Weibo, and Baidu, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation in the Greater China market
- Experience of preparing short-form content for social media and delivering hybrid customer events
- Experience in collaborating with local vendors, agencies, and media partners to navigate the unique media landscape in Greater China
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international, virtual team
- Experience of working within professional services with a focus on Supply Chain Solutions, Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG), Product assurance, Medical would be an advantage
- Excellent fluency in English and Mandarin is required
