Position Summary
As the Manager of Knowledge Management, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies to effectively capture, organize, and share knowledge within Global Advisory Solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the team has access to relevant and up-to-date information, fostering collaboration, improving efficiency, and promoting continuous learning.
Position Responsibilities:
Knowledge Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive knowledge management strategy aligned with GLAS goals and objectives.
- Establish processes for capturing and organizing knowledge related to financial inclusion.
- Collaborate with IT to research and implement a knowledge-sharing platform and tools to facilitate efficient knowledge exchange among GLAS team members.
Knowledge Capture and Organization:
- Collaborate with Practice Area Team Leads and Project Managers to capture and document best practices, methodologies, and lessons learned from client engagements.
- Establish processes for categorizing, tagging, and organizing knowledge assets, such as reports, case studies, research findings, and projects.
- Ensure the knowledge repository is regularly updated and maintained with accurate and relevant information.
Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration:
- Design and implement mechanisms to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among GLAS team members.
- Partner with Industry Engagement to promote knowledge sharing with external stakeholders.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing forums to encourage idea exchange and problem-solving.
- Develop learning sessions to promote the effective use of knowledge management tools and processes.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Monitor industry trends, emerging practices, and new research related to financial inclusion and knowledge management.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and implement improvements based on feedback and lessons learned.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with Practice Area Leads and RPMs to understand knowledge management needs and align initiatives with project requirements.
- Work closely with Practice Areas to promote knowledge sharing and integrate knowledge management practices into daily workflows.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in knowledge management, preferably in a consulting or financial services environment.
- Understanding of financial inclusion concepts, trends, and challenges is a plus.
- Experience in implementing knowledge management systems and tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
