Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses—including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior—to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.

We are looking for a Manager, IT to drive our company forward, and help us lead the clean energy revolution!

How you will make an impact:

• Leading the team of IT Support Analysts and System Administrators who provide support and solutions across the organization, building positive relationships with Uplighters through a customer-centric and metrics-informed mindset
• Identifying and actioning solutions for self-service, automation, and efficiency across corporate systems, including but not limited to help desk tracking, SaaS SSO, video conferencing, and office networks
• Maintaining standards for SOC2 and ISO27000 Compliance for user, system, and data management, participating in regular audits
• Initiating and fostering positive relationships with vendors while maintaining a budget and expense reporting

What you bring to Uplight:

• 3+ years of experience managing IT Support Teams in a managed service provider or in-house environment, developing talent and cultivating positive culture
• Experience with managing and administering ticketing systems like JIRA, FreshService, Salesforce
• Technical proficiency to serve as escalation point for tickets or issues
• Familiarity with Google WorkSpace, Zoom, Atlassian products, Slack, Salesforce

Bonus points:

• Previous systems administration experience

Salary Range: $115,000 to $130,000 + Bonus

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
