LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE

Position Purpose

A versatile position within a dynamic non-profit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The position is full-time and is responsible for supporting the organization’s programs by coordinating assets to and from program locations effectively and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Oversee procurement of goods and equipment pertaining to item requests

• Provide oversight of tech asset deployment - includes updating, resetting and integrating device management policy across all laptops

• Assist in strategic logistical planning and capacity building for future operations

• Update and maintain logistics inventory and tracking systems across all locations

• Support the account management and ongoing audit of mobile telecommunication accounts

• Maintain records and track invoicing and cost data against requests to summarize outputs

• Support US Rapid Responses through active deployment 2-3 times a season

• We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff. While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required.

Position Requirements

• Education  High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Related Experience  1+ years working in a logistics or asset/stock management type role required. Previous work or volunteering on an All Hands and Hearts program is preferred
• Special Competencies/Certifications Valid US driver's license and comfort driving larger vehicles (e.g. F250 pickup) is required. Must be incredibly organized and systematic in approach. Must be confident in managing data and working in asset management software systems. Must be confident working with technology and systems. Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. The individual needs to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment. Must have valid driving license (preferable to be experienced in towing vehicles). ASAP start.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation Typical starting range: $35,000-$42,500, which will be based on skills and experience.  Annual performance-based pay increases may be available, up to a salary maximum of $50,000 for U.S. based employees.
