The role: Lean Coordinator

Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality and enabling global industries to play offence in the fight against climate change.
R&D in Svante is focusing on research efforts, development of the technology, sharing knowledge, and directly influencing downstream product development; that needs to perform different types of projects.
Lean Coordinator will work under the R&D Program Manager to improve the R&D environment into a world-class lean environment. The LC will do so by applying Lean principles to improve processes & work cells. In doing so, the LC will demonstrate "what good looks like." While on this journey to excellence, the LC will reinforce other staff to develop the culture & skillsets associated with process engineering, Lean and continuous improvement.
This will take a commitment to be hands-on, participate in, and encourage engagement in continuous improvement activities. The LC will develop and champion the Kaizen Continuous Improvement program, which will be a metric of staff engagement. The LC will also champion the preparing the Kanban system.
