Responsibilities

• Be an effective code contributor, guiding by example in day-to-day operations.
• Direct and participate in code reviews, architecture debates, and strategic planning sessions, aligning technical goals with the company's business objectives.
• Clearly define and break down intricate  technical projects into manageable tasks, identifying key milestones, potential risks, and resource requirements.
• Work in sync with cross-functional teams, including engineering, cybersecurity, and product, to develop solutions that are scalable, cost-effective, and compliant.
• Proactively identify and address  performance bottlenecks and scalability issues, producing robust solutions backed by POCs.
• Collaborate closely with the SOC to ensure all architectural decisions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Advocate and instill best practices on performance, scalability, and architecture across engineering teams.
• Mentor engineering teams on non-functional requirements, performance optimization, and design patterns.
• Keep a well-maintained & up-to-date repository of technical documentation.
• Critically evaluate technical proposals for feasibility, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
• Drive innovation in technology and processes.
• Effectively communicate intricate  technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on relevant industry experience.
• A proven track record building large-scale highly available products (24/7) with a data-driven customer-first mindset.
• A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong familiarity with SOC 2 compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
