As the Lead Engine Investigation Specialist, you will be the technical engine investigation Team-Expert and you are responsible for the execution of engine investigation projects or warranty parts/systems as well as the KPI for the engine investigation process. Key deliverables of the job are maintaining and improving KPI’s for engine and warranty part investigations, drive strong collaboration and alignment with all relevant roles involved and initiate process and technical improvements in order to guarantee a positive and sustainable customer experience.

Your Responsibilities:
- Driving mechanical engine and warranty parts investigation and compile written investigation reports
- Being part of the disassembly process of unplanned engine removals and ensuring documentation & responding measurements
- Analyzing data on engine control systems, oil and cooling water analysis and maintenance records
- Supporting issue resolution on component or subsystem level in alignment with INNIOs quality and engineering teams
- Advise and guide other engineers on on-site investigations and issue resolution
- Providing insight on new unplanned engine removal for definition of next steps and management updates
Your Profile:
- Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent desired e.g., HTL-engineer or craftsman’s master exam in mechanical engineering
- Good experience with Jenbacher products and control systems preferred or adequate experience in operation and maintenance of reciprocating engines and their systems in general is required
- Expert knowledge about use of borescope, videoscope, microscope, digital photography
- Good knowledge about material testing and measurement methods beneficial
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Independent, proactive, flexible work style and ability to work on multiple priorities
- Good interpersonal, team-oriented communications skills
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.790,58 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
