Lead Designer, China-SH

Summary

ELEVATE is looking for a creative designer and animator to join our team in Shanghai. We develop interactive eLearning courses. Through colorful visual effects, information that can be complicated and difficult to understand becomes simple.

The world's largest brands and retailers (Apple, Starbucks, Disney, etc.) use our courses to teach internal staff, suppliers, factories, and farms.

This is a full-time position working with ELEVATE’s Shanghai office.

Essential Duties

Storyboarding

• Draw storyboards based on the content of the script (the theme of the script will be environmental protection, sustainability, etc) in Adobe Animate (AA) or Adobe Illustrate (AI)

Graphic Design / Draw eLearning courses

• Design graphic illustrations in Adobe Illustrate (AI) according to storyboard
• Use specified color and style requirements
• Propose new color and design styles
• Estimate timelines and communicate progress

Animation and audio integration

• Add animation (create motion graphics and character animation) to AI files using Adobe After Effects (AE)
• Edit and process audio files using Adobe Audition or other audio software
• Integrate and publish eLearning course files (SCORM or MP4) using TechSmith Camtasia

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience drawing and animating videos or eLearning courses
• Able to use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with Adobe Audition, Adobe Animate, and TechSmith Camtasia are preferred, but not all required
• Relevant academic degree certificate
• Fluent in Chinese (English preferred but not required)
• Outstanding design; attention to detail
• Friendly, curious personality, and good communicator
