Essential Responsibilities :
Tools and Processes
• Use and maintain sales tools
• Updated and maintain budgetary calculation tool
• Create technical specifications with support of relevant software (both company and commerical grade)
• Review customer specifications and offer suitable Jenbacher solutions supported by technical calculations utilizing various applications (e.g. calculation of gas analysis, engine efficiency, load studies, emissions regulations, etc.)
• Follow the defined risk management process (commercial / technical)
• Initiate / Participate at „risk reviews“
Documents and Quotes
• Use standardized sales documents (e.g. country-specific price lists, specifications, …)
• Create technical special release documents for project specific needs that deviate from Jenbacher standard product program offerings
• Support regional sales and commercial teams on quotes
• Independent creation of quotes for complex projects
• Create project specific technical offers / calculations / configurations / handover to production, etc. with the support of an ERP system
• Prepare project specific documents (calculations, specifications, …)
Feedback
• Check technical conformity of our products
• Feed back potential product adaptions according to country-specific requirements
Knowledge Transfer and Regional Support
• Train regional sales and commercial teams on technical processes, sales tools, products
• Provide technical support to regional sales and commercial teams and participate in negotiations with customers

End customers, channel partners
Key Performance Indicators and Role Dimensions:
Order intake, DoA compliance, offer-cycle time, offer hit-rate
Qualifications / Requirements:
• 3-5 years of Engineering experience in related industries, preferably working with reciprocating engine technology
• Experience in reviewing and solving of complex technical tasks involving interdisciplinary thinking/acting
• Accustomed to working with minimal supervision and in a process orientated environment
• Capability to support and train regional teams
• Fluent English (oral + written), further language beneficial
• Detail orientated, precise working style
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization
• Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to travel (20-30%)
Academic requirements: Engineering degree (Electrical or mechanical)
