Lab Technician

Your Mission

As a Laboratory Technician (Soil Microbiology Laboratory), you will work at our Bio Inputs Production Laboratory under the close supervision of our Senior Microbiologist. You will be part of the Product Development and Management (Agronomy) Team and will work hand in hand with the Bio Inputs Production Team. Since the bio inputs production laboratory is part of the bio inputs production facility, you will be doing all relevant lab analyses for biological inputs production.

Once You’re Here, You Will:

• Conduct all relevant bio lab analyses throughout the whole production cycle and timely report findings to the relevant teams.
• Work collaboratively with the Product Quality Control Team to ensure we deliver high quality products to customers.
• Conduct regular product R&D for consistency of product quality and product efficacy.
• Manage and control the Biological Inputs Laboratory inventory to minimize disruption.
• Keep all laboratory record as management tools for tracking samples and identifying problems.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor of Agricultural Science (prefer specialization in soil microbiology).
• Ability to characterize and evaluate relevant soil microorganisms.
• Ability to manage laboratory inventory and do record keeping.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to establish effective working relationships within the workplace and with external stakeholders.
• Passion for helping rural farmers and improving their livelihoods through sustainable ways.
